Bastikiya Mosque – One Of Dubai’s Most Picturesque Heritage Sites

The Bastakiya mosque is also known as Abdul Aziz Mohammed Hussein Al Mahdi Al Hidzasi mosque. The mosque is located in the Bastakiya quarter, which was established at the end of the 19th century by well-to-do textile and pearl traders from Bastak, Iran. The area is supposed to be one of the city’s most picturesque heritage sites and has been declared a conservation area.
