Sesame tuna with fried rice

This dish is simple and quick to prepare and makes a great meal for two, or as part of a selection of dishes for bigger parties.

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cook time: less than half an hour


  • 2 tuna steaks
  • 1 cup of basmati rice (white or brown)
  • 2 free-range eggs
  • 1 scallion
  • 1 medium onion
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 5 centimetre piece of ginger
  • 3 tablespoons of sesame seems
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Olive oil
  • Sesame oil
