This year Snowboxx festival is moving to the French Alps. From 21-28 March, 2015 this is a place to be for fantastic apres ski sessions, which will include 2ManyDJs and 2014’s buzziest band Jungle, all night long clubbing, art projects and late-session powder. DJs will play on the Taburle Terrace – a 2,000 capacity stage area that spills out onto the snow with a mountain skyline as its backdrop. Two open air stages and all-day pool parties welcome everyone ready for a week-long party.
Hot Ice Festival (Val d’Isere, France)
From April 11 to May 3, 2015 a great 3-week event to wrap-up ski season in Val d’Isere. Every year the resort is celebrating spring skiing in its unique way offering a vast array of indoor and outdoor entertaining activities to suit everyone’s taste. Previous years events included guided tours of the resort, races and behind-the-scenes forays into snowmaking and controlled avalanche explosions. Traditionally, during the ski season, Ischgl hosts three major events – Top of the Mountain concerts: an opening event, an Easter concert and a closing event. On May 2, 2015 there will be a farewell concert, when everyone will say “Goodbye” to beautiful and exciting pistes and slopes of the Ischgl resort. Rock the Pistes (Portes du Soleil, Avoriaz, France)
If you are going to ski in Portes du Soleil in March, then you have to save the date for a major rock music festival Rock the Pistes, which will take place from 15th to 21st of March, 2015. This 7-days long event will be held for the 5th time and will take place across the entire Portes du Soleil ski area. Every day different events will be happening at different resorts. Each year, the festival hosts the most famous international artists and bands: BabyShambles, Archive, Keziah Jones, Breton, Shaka Ponk, Skip The Use, Bertignac, Superbus, Ben L’oncle Soul, BB Brunes and many others. To see special concerts on the slopes in the Portes du Soleil ski area all you need is a lift pass. The full line up is yet to be released but acts confirmed for the 2015 festival so far include British-born Charlie Winston and reggae band Dub Inc.
