  1. Statue of Unity, India: The Statue of Unity was erected in Gujarat, India, to commemorate Vallabhbhai Patel, one of India’s founding fathers and the country’s first Deputy Prime Minister.   6. Sendai Daikannon, Japan: The Sendai Daikannon, standing at 100 meters (328 feet), is located in Sendai, Japan. It represents the Buddhist bodhisattva Kannon, known for compassion and mercy. Completed in 1991, the statue features an observation deck and a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into Buddhist art and culture.
  7. Emperors Yan and Huang, China: The Emperors Yan and Huang statue in Zhengzhou, China, depicts two legendary Chinese emperors from ancient times. Standing at 106 meters (348 feet), it was completed in 2007 and commemorates the historical and cultural heritage of China.
  8. Qianshou Qianyan Guanyin of Weishan, China: Located in Weishan County, China, this statue of Guanyin stands at a height of 99 meters (325 feet). Completed in 2009, it is a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhists and serves as a symbol of compassion and enlightenment.
  9. Great Buddha of Thailand, Thailand: Known as the “Big Buddha,” this statue in Ang Thong, Thailand, reaches a height of 92 meters (302 feet). Construction began in 1990 and was completed in 2008. The statue represents the standing Buddha and showcases the rich Buddhist heritage of Thailand.
  10. Dai Kannon of Kita no Miyako park, Japan: Located in Ashibetsu, Japan, the Dai Kannon statue stands at 88 meters (289 feet). Completed in 1989, it depicts the Buddhist bodhisattva Kannon and is surrounded by a serene park offering visitors a tranquil setting for reflection and contemplation.
