Summer has officially arrived – hallelujah!
Sure, losing an hours sleep sucks but the clocks going forward signifies sunnier days ahead. I’m not sure about you but I’m so over winter with it’s wind and rain. Longer days of sunlight mean shades, shorts, sitting outside at lunch, going for runs after work (we’ll see how long I keep this one up) and of course, ice cream! Let’s just hope the weather plays along.
To celebrate the arrival of British summertime and good times ahead, here is a playlist of songs that I listen to when the sun has got it’s hat on. They aren’t necessarily all about the sun, I’ve included tracks that make me want to dance too. You’ll find classics like Walking on Sunshine and Surfin’ U.S.A to modern day songs like March into the Sun and Fader. Enjoy!
