Dubai is the second largest of the seven Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. It is located on the Eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, in the south west corner of the Arabian Gulf. It has an estimated population of 1.67 million, 80% of which comprises of expatriates.
The city of Dubai is also known as the ‘City of Gold’ due to its spectacular development in all spheres. The city has transformed from being just a Gulf port to a world-famous destination for business and pleasure. It is also the main hub of the gold trade, between the sources in Africa and the main market, with high demand in countries like China, Turkey and India.
