Moving to Canada from the U.S.

If you want to immigrate to Canada by the easiest way, there is nothing more than Canada express entry system. For this purpose, there is a need to provide essential information on the foreign work history and Canadian work history, language ability, education level, and some other factors. There is a great need to know that express Entry processes almost all the immigration applications for the economic immigration programs.

However, the traveller qualifies for any of the one programs, which means that you are eligible for permanent residency in Canada by Express Entry.

It is fascinating to know that more than 80% of applications submitted by Express Entry are processed within six months. It is the reason that express entry is considered the fastest immigration systems globally.

The three federal economic immigration streams are following:

FSW

FSW or Federal Skilled Worker Program is used to have one year of work experience with mandatory knowledge and skills.  The minimum language requirement is English or French, with at least 67 points out of 100 on the selection grid.

FST

FST or Federal Skilled Trades Program. This federal immigration stream is used if you have two years of experience in trading.  However, the language requirement is same as FSW that is English or French. Along with this, the trader must have a Canadian certificate of qualification to practice trade in Canada.

CEC

Suppose any traveller met the language requirements in English or French and worked with the skilled position for a minimum of one year in Canada. In that case, you are eligible to apply for CEC or Canadian Experience Class.

Working of U.S. permanent resident in Canada

While moving to Canada from the U.S., there are various types of available permits. However, it all depends on your circumstances. These are:

NAFTA Work Permits

NAFTA is an economic agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada responsible for facilitating the trading between three countries. It allows some selected temporary workers. Keep in consideration that the NAFTA permit is issued via the International Mobility Program and an eligible job from a Canadian employer.

Employer Specific Work Permit

If any employer is offered with a valid job, then e will be considered eligible for that job as well to enter on the basis if employer-specific work permit. Keep in consideration that this employer-specific work permit needs LMIA. LMIA is a document.

Spousal Open Work Permit

Keep in consideration that if any common-law partner is working as a temporary worker in Canada, it means, that person is considered eligible for that specific permit. Keep in consideration that this permit is not a kind of employer-specific. It means that if you change jobs, there is no need to get a new work permit because the current permit will be still valid.

Canada from the United States- Moving as a student

As compared to the United States, Canada offers more benefits of studying. Some of the significant perks are short visa processing time and low tuition rates for the students. It is fascinating to know that the Canadian study allows all the student the great ability to work for 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week during holidays or vacations.

However, in Canada, the overall ability to work is considered great. It is fascinating to know that the accommodation, stay, food and other expenses for the students are cheaper in Canada than in the U.S. there is no need to spend more time and money on the studies.
