We’re super excited to showcase new travel bloggers, Many Other Roads! They’ve explored 52% of Europe by road. Find out all about them in our travel blogger interview!
1. Why do you love travel?
I’m actually a pretty shy person. I’m completely content with a book, a glass of wine and getting lost in my own thoughts. However when my feet touch base in another Country I’m a completely different person. I want to walk until my feet hurt, speak to everyone and learn their story. Travelling completely changes me and I love that.
Travelling surprises me every single time. it’s mind blowing how countries and cultures can change simply in a few hours. There is always something new to see and that is just amazing!
I also love wine so any chance to try different ones across the globe makes me happy!
2. What destination is top of your bucket list?
I’m guessing anywhere and everywhere isn’t the best answer…so I would probably say Japan. It’s one place that I know very little about but whenever I see a video of Tokyo it always makes me want to book a flight there.
3. Where is your most favourite place you have travelled to?
I’m always a fan of a place with good wine and sun , so Greece will always be at the top of my list.
Athens is like no City I have ever been to. I loved the mix of old and new.(Athens is also full of amazing places to eat so that helps too!)You could be walking down a street full of shops then BAM there is a piece of ancient Greece. The way the old and new City has combined with each other is something truly special.
I also couldn’t answer this without thinking of my trip to the Ecuador and Amazon Rainforest. This is one trip everyone needs to make once. The views and people you meet and just like no other.
4. What is your most favourite memory or experience whilst travelling?
There are so many that I couldn’t pick one (Sorry):
Drinking Tea in the Desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan.
Candle lit wine tasting under Budapest Castle
Overeating Gelato in Venice
Floating and reading a travel book in the Dead Sea, Jordan
5. What is your favourite photo from your travels?
I’m probably guilty of taking too many photo’s on my trips but I love being able to look at them after and make something awesome out of them! Here are a few of Many Other Roads Favourite Snaps.
